Coming Clean - short story

David hung up and went back into the ER. He sat down, and stared at the clock. He’d been here a grand total of 15 minutes. He wasn’t going to last two hours. He went back outside, and dug the keys from his pocket. He looked up at the concrete roof covering the ambulance bay, walked out from under it, and threw the keys up onto the roof.

David walked back inside, sat down, and watched the sweat drip from his forehead onto the floor.

Nice story, bro. I thought it started a bit rough, but I was hooked only a few pages in. Good progression and char dev.
